Services for the Community

CORE has programs to support you at all stages of life. If you want to brush up on your reading and math skills, change careers, or need help meeting basic needs, we're here to help!


As always our services are free.

Literacy Zone Family Welcome Centers -Belmont, Batavia, and Warsaw

The Literacy Zones offer individuals and families services from childhood through adulthood, including strong support and services that meet the needs of community members. 

We do this by offering assistance that meets your education and work goals. Through tutoring and classes in reading, math, and how to use computers, you can get ready for your TASC (GED), vocational classes, college or work. We can help you  with your resume, career planning, and job readiness. Stop by a center today to see how CORE can help you achieve more.

Adult Education

Whether you want to get your High School Equivalency (GED) or just want to brush up your skills before taking your next steps, our classes are tailored to your needs. Our adult learners go on to vocational training, college, or continue to work. Residents 16 years old+ in the communities we work in are eligible.  Stop by a center today!

English as a Second or Other Language (ESOL) and Civics classes

Our English and civics classes will help you learn to read, speak, write, and understand English better.

Work Readiness

Struggling to find a job? Are you underemployed? 

Our staff can help you strengthen your workforce marketability with vocational classes, Course and Safety certifications, career exploration and development, resumé building, and interview preparation.

Youth Services

CORE offers a wide variety of school-based programs and family services including: STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math), bullying and suicide prevention, career exploration, links to community resources, college preparation, and mindfulness skills for youth. 

We're currently in 4 school districts in Allegany County!
